There are currently 623 members of the New York-based club (the club website still shows the number as 622!). Most of the members are from the USA. But there are members also from Australia, Bahamas, Brazil, Canada, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden, and the UK and of course now India.
‘Cheers to our very first member from India,’ says Steve De Long, President of The Wine Century Club. While admitting it is a small group at the moment, Steve is confident that ‘with your help we’ll grow into a large, grand organisation’, adding ‘we will not rest until the club has shown the world the wonders of adventurous wine drinking.
An interesting feature of the club is that it encourages and shares the tastings by members of unusual grape varieties and tries to make the canvas wider for wine flavours.I It is a good form for those who believe that there is a vine world beyond Cabernet and Chardonnay.

Congratulations Subhash on joining us at the Wine Century Club. Especially well done to be the first person in India to become a member,I was the second person in Australia to become a member. Here's cheers to all the poineers around the world- long may we enjoy different wines!!!
