The evening was honored by Cav. Subhash Arora, a noted prolific wine writer, author, journalist, international judge, speaker, consultant, educator and a wine club promoter. His knowledge has been the key in promoting the IWC. During the event Cav. Wines from Friuli, Veneto, Campania and Sicily were showcased.
This is an outstanding achievement that paves the way for a Pan-India program of activities aimed at the promotion of Italian wine and Italian wine culture in India. The Italics Wine Club India is part of a much larger project called "Il DolceVino", which aims in increase the share of Italian wine in the market in order to make Italy the main exporter of wine in India in three years (2017-2020).
To achieve this goal, IICCI has two specific objectives:
1- The creation of the Italics Wine Club-India: an instrument/group promoted by the Indo Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the aim of aggregating, organizing and stimulating the demand for Italian wine in India to address an integrated set of promotional actions to be held in each city of India (at least the most important) throughout the year.
2- Alfiere Italico: Internationally promoted certification scheme by Assocamerestero and ICMQ Institute with the aim of qualifying and establishing a community of Italian wine promoters who know how to combine good knowledge of the product, knowledge of Italian culture and territories and a good capacity for Story Telling.
In India, we are now ready to replicate the same pattern in the Indian cities of Pune, Kolkata, Chennai and Bangalore.
Italics Wine Club-India will be your master key to the best wines and territory in Italy.
Come with us, and be part of a timeless journey through the wonders of Italian Wine
and Italian Wine Culture!
