One of the highlights of VinoElite, the first-ever wine show in the world featuring fine wines will be a tasting of wines from the First Family of Wines. The well known wine critic, writer who works with Christie's (she is Master of Wine too !) will be conducting the guided wine tasting of wines from the PRIMUM FAMILIAE VINI wines.
The wineries that are members of PFV include Vega Sicilia, Torres, Egon Müller, Hugel & Fils, Joseph Drouhin, Chateau Mouton-Rothschild, Pol Roger, Perrin & Fils, Marchesi Antinori and Tenuta San Guido.
This tasting provides another opportunity to taste some of the finest wines crafted by family owned wineries of Europe, who are members of the 'Family'. The group visited India and conducted tastings in Hotel Taj, Mumbai in early January. Interestingly, it is a part of the group members to attend all tasting personally or through one member of the family.
David Álvarez, owner of Vega Sicilia is the President of VinoElite
