Vinitaly India Road Show 2025: Delhi all geared up for the Italian wine Event
Vinitaly, the well-known wine show focusing on Italian wines is held in Verona in Italy every year and this year it will be on April 6-9, 2025. DelWine recognizes the importance of this show and strongly recommends every Italian Wine Lover to attend it once in one’s lifetime. The leading wine & spirits trade fair targets wine business operators on international markets and is recognized as a global landmark for the wine sector.
It also organizes Road Shows in various countries to raise awareness of Italian wines and the Show. As informed earlier in the 31 January edition of delWine, the Vinitaly India Roadshow is scheduled for March 8, 2025, at the Hotel Vivanta in Dwarka, Delhi. This event aims to connect Italian wine producers with key players in the Indian market, including wholesalers, importers, distributors, retailers, HoReCa operators, sommeliers, and specialized media.
Born from the desire to connect Italian producers with buyers in the Indian market, Vinitaly India Roadshow aims to be the perfect event to consolidate its presence in a country where the wine & spirits sector is in full evolution. It’s an excellent opportunity for networking and exploring Italian wines in a market where the wine and spirits sector is rapidly evolving.
This Show has been organised by Veronafiere who organise the Show in Verona, in collaboration with the Indian Chamber of Commerce, Kolkata.
Being held on 8 March at the Hotel Vivanta, this Road Show focuses on::
- Wine Tastings: Opportunities to sample a diverse range of Italian wines.
- Networking Sessions: Facilitated interactions between producers, importers, bulk buyers, distributors, HoReCa operators, sommeliers, and media representatives.
- B2B Meetings: Scheduled appointments to foster business relationships and collaborations.
The Roadshow has been segregated in two categories: The wine professionals from 10am-1 pm and wine enthusiasts from 3-7 pm where there will be several wine tastings of perhaps over 100 wines. The entry is strictly by pre-registration and is likely to close before 7 March.
Producers expected to attend with their wines include Elios, Tenuta Segattini, Matteo Rigoni, Ausonia, Crealto, Eremo S Iconio, Nevio Scala, Terraprava, Menti, G.D. Vajra, Scriani, Maria Faretra, Angelini Wines , Masciarelli, Hadrianum, Foss Marai, Giuseppe Cortese, Boschetto Campacci etc.
The producers are from several regions like Piedmont, Tuscany, Veneto, Friuli. Abruzzo, Marche, Franciacorta
A Vinitaly India Preview evening has been organised by the Italian Embassy on 7th March, a day before the event at Hotel Vivanta.
